Dr. Sumit J. Raisinghaney

Dr. Sumit J. Raisinghaney belongs to a family of doctors with both his parents being doctors as well. He studied Medicine at the Topiwala National Medical College and BYL Nair Hospital in Mumbai. After finishing his internship, he worked in Medicine and Intensive Care under the guidance of Dr. Farokh E Udwadia, a stalwart in Medicine and Intensive Care. During this time, he also participated in international research and assisted Dr. Udwadia with writing his textbook of Critical Care.

Following this period, Dr. Raisinghaney left for the UK to pursue higher studies. He gained the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons and then trained as a General Practitioner which enabled him to come in close contact with people and families and help with their health and wellbeing.

As the National Health Service in the UK was in a crisis, Dr. Raisinghaney undertook a Masters in Business Administration in order to try and help at a systemic level in a leadership role. However, he soon realized that his passions lay elsewhere and his calling was to discover the deeper causes of illness and seek deeper healing for his patients through simple, yet transformative approaches.

Dr. Raisinghaney currently practices in an integrative manner, combining his experience in conventional western medicine, along with his knowledge of deeper healing modalities. He is a generalist who aims to cure individuals within the context of our contemporary lives. He aims to help with ailments of body, mind and spirit.

Dr. Raisinghaney is now seeking to set up his practice in Mumbai.
Besides working in Medicine and Healing Dr. Raisinghaney has a number of other commitments and interests – he is a son, father of two daughters, a husband, a family man, an aspiring philosopher and a world citizen.
